Who we are

I’ve been a professional baker for many years, with extensive experience in everything from crafting custom birthday treats for kids to designing elegant wedding cakes and sophisticated fine dining desserts for upscale restaurants. I’ve loved every moment of it, as each experience is unique and exciting.

Somewhere along the way, I started noticing some health problems within myself, type 2 diabetes to be precise, as well as a developing gluten sensitivity. As I look around, I see how many others seem to be struggling with similar health conditions. It's becoming an epidemic in our country. These days, it feels like nearly everything is packed with sugar or artificial sweeteners. In addition to so many other harmful chemicals and GMOs. Just look at the ingredient lists on the back of everything you buy at the grocery store. It's insane! It’s no wonder so many are sick and struggle to get better.

I knew right away that if I wanted to keep doing what I love most, I had to find a better way—one that’s just as fun, beautiful, and satisfying, but also good for our bodies. We shouldn’t have to give up what we enjoy doing or eating, and it’s unfair that so many have to make such sacrifices. I set my mind to it, relentlessly researching and testing countless products, determined to find the answer. I believe eating should be more than just fun; it should also nourish our bodies. Sadly, good quality is something that’s become hard to find these days.

At Balanced Batter, we serve up treats and sweets with zero artificial sweeteners, additives, harmful chemicals, or downsides. We never use gums, fillers, or preservatives. Everything is 100% organic, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free. Our unique blend of gluten-free flours and low-glycemic sugars won’t spike blood sugar levels, making it a safe choice for those who are diabetic, celiac, or following a keto lifestyle.

My mission is to bring only the best to my baking, fueled by a passion for helping people. I’ve started this journey with a few simple, organic, high-quality, fresh, and homegrown ingredients from local, trusted sources to create small kitchen delights from farm to table. My family and friends can’t get enough, and I hope you’ll feel the same.
